A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats against anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller, it has been reported.
The Metropolitan Police said officers from its Falcon Unit arrested the man after detectives were made aware of threats made against a 51-year-old woman from 3 November.
The Press Association reported the victim was Gina Miller, the asset manager behind the Brexit lawsuit currently being heard in the Supreme Court.
The man was arrested on Monday at an address in Swindon, and taken into custody at a Wiltshire police station, where he was released on bail.
The Met added officers had issued a "cease and desist" notice to a 38-year-old man from Fife as part of the same investigation.
