London travel disruption: Commuters facing delays at Fenchurch Street station until 4pm due to signal failure
City commuters will face delays at Fenchurch Street station this afternoon, National Rail has warned.
A signalling problem at London Fenchurch Street means that trains will be unable to run between London Fenchurch Street and Barking.
While National Rail originally said services would be delayed until 4pm, the operator has since warned passengers that the Fenchurch Street to Barking route will be disrupted until 5pm.

Commuters on the route are likely to face longer journey times this evening.

Rail operators have advised commuters to use the #FenchurchStreet hashtag to keep track of updates on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Tube passengers are facing delays on the Metropolitan Line after a person was hit by a train at Wembley Park station.
