Are Leicester's fans the luckiest lot in the league?
Not only is Leicester City top of the Premier League and in with a chance of winning the title, but fans were handed a particularly nice treat on top of all that success by Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the club's owner.
To celebrate the billionaire's birthday, the Foxes fans were handed a sweet treat and something to wash it down with at today's game against Southampton - a doughnut and a beer. And all for free.
Leicester's owner giving everyone at the game a free beer and a doughnut. That's a hell of a round.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) April 3, 2016
Leicester fans in fine singing form so far. Wouldn't you be if you were top of the league and got a free beer and doughnut before the game!— Paddy Power (@paddypower) April 3, 2016
Free beer, free doughnuts, song, sunshine and a seven-point lead in sight. Quite a day to be a Leicester fan. pic.twitter.com/Zrk26rfWfx— Tom Williams (@tomwfootball) April 3, 2016
To be fair, he can afford it. He is after all worth £2bn. Beer and a doughnut's probably just pocket change.
