SkyTrax 2016 World Airport Awards: Singapore’s Changi Airport top holds onto crown
Singapore's Changi airport has held onto its crown as the world's best airport for the the fourth year in a row.
That's according to airport transport research firm SkyTrax's 2016 world airport awards which trumpeted Changi's ability to innovate.
"Changi Airport continues to innovate in both product and service options for its customers, and focus on making the customer experience at the airport as enjoyable and relaxing as possible," Edward Plaisted, chief executive of Skytrax, said.
Changi airport has a cactus garden, swimming pool, water lily garden and even its own Instagram feed.
Incheon International, Munich airport, Tokyo International, Hong Kong International made up the top five.
They were followed by Chūbu Centrair Nagoya, Zurich airport, London Heathrow , Kansai International and Hamad International.
