LIDA
Digital direct marketing agency LIDA has appointed Trefor Thomas, executive creative director of SapientNitro, as its chief creative officer – a newly created role. Trefor’s brief will be to focus on furthering the agency’s direct, digital brand and innovation capabilities, while continuing to gear up LIDA’s loyalty credentials across new platforms. He boasts over two decades of international creative experience and has won three Gold Cannes Lions. Trefor’s previous roles saw him co-found the digital agency Brand Advocate, winning a range of clients from Louis Vuitton to Hendricks gin; heading up JWT’s digital and direct arm, RMG Connect, for EMEA; and leading Saatchi & Saatchi’s integrated business in London.
Capital Access Group
Investment engagement advisers Capital Access Group has announced the appointment of Simon Brickles to chair its newly established advisory group. Simon was formerly head of the secondary market Aim, at the London Stock Exchange. He has spent more than 20 years developing and operating a number of diverse capital markets around the world. He was also chief executive of PLUS Markets (now ISDX). Originally a barrister, Simon has worked with a variety of broking houses and is an experienced non-executive director.

Itai Frieberger has been appointed chief executive of 888, the online gaming firm. Itai has been chief operating officer of 888 since 1 April 2011 and joined the board at the same time. He has worked for the group since 2003, and previously served as its senior vice president of product technologies, as well as leading various parts of the business such as marketing, product and business development. He held several management positions at Orange. 888 has also announced that Brian Mattingley, executive chairman since 13 May 2015, has been appointed as non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Colliers International
Alex Hill will join Colliers International’s EMEA corporate solutions team as a director. After 21 years in APAC, Alex has relocated back to London from Singapore where he worked with JLL and CBRE, advising clients such as BT, Shell, HSBC, American Express and Nokia Siemens. Alex brings over 28 years’ of experience across a broad range of real estate services, including strategic consulting, alternative workplace strategy, portfolio, transaction, project and facilities management.
