Are you motivated? Creative? Enthusiastic? You'll never get hired then.

These, and several others, are among the most over-used buzzwords killing your career prospects on LinkedIn.

Generic, beige management-ease - strategic, track record, you know the ones - is putting off potential employers, according to the site.

“We wouldn’t describe ourselves as 'strategic', 'driven' or as having 'extensive experience' in real life situations, so why do it on a LinkedIn profile?" said Darain Faraz.

Instead, LinkedIn advises to using pictures and presentations and other ways of demonstrating that you actually are creative rather than just saying it.
