A man has died after being hit by a train in Edmonton Green this morning.
The incident occurred earlier this morning and emergency services including London Ambulance and the British Transport Police were called to the scene.
Police confirmed the unnamed man had died from his injuries by mid-morning.
No trains are running between London Liverpool Street and Cheshunt, and disruption is likely to continue until at least midday, London Overground said.
Commuters are being advised to seek alternative routes, saying they may use tickets on services offered by Abellio Greater Anglia, Great Northern, TfL, DLR and London buses.
The incident is also affecting local bus routes.
