"Transform your body in just 12 weeks” sounds like an impossible task, the kind of thing you read in the classified section of old newspapers. City gym No.1 Fitness is out to show that it really can be done.
The gym, run by Ben Camara and Harry Thomas, is by-appointment-only and combines multiple weekly sessions with some of the county’s top personal trainers with a bespoke diet plan devised by their in-house nutritionist.
Camara, a winner of the prestigious Men’s Health’s Personal Trainer of the Year award, says: “At No.1 Fitness we like to put our money where our mouth is. We get results time after time. Our 12 Week Ultimate Transformation is tough, but if you stick to it, you’re guaranteed to get results.
“Readers of City A.M. might remember last year’s amazing transformation of Life&Style editor Steve Dinneen. Over the next 12 weeks we’re going to show you the fitness diary of another client, Sam Pridham, who was keen to lose his beer belly and get back into shape. We’ll present the pictures every two weeks, showing you in real-time how Sam completely changed his appearance with No.1 Fitness.”
The series will track the changes in his body shape every two weeks, asking him which aspects he found tough, and how the program helped improve aspects of his life including his concentration and even his sleep pattern.
The fitness program focuses heavily on free weights over cardio, and uses cutting-edge training methods that help to burn fat quickly and promote muscle growth.
No1. Fitness has two studios, one in the City at 50 St Mary Axe and another at Tower Bridge at 108 Maltings Place. The 12-week program costs from £2,525 for three sessions a week, including the nutrition consultation.
City A.M. readers can apply for a free, no obligation consultation with a trainer.
