City A.M. sends founder over the edge (of the Lloyd’s Building – for charity)
It's not often employees get to watch their boss plunge over the edge of a 300ft building – but today the staff of City A.M. wished founder and managing director Lawson Muncaster luck as he abseiled down the side of the Lloyd's Building today. Just don't look down…
Muncaster joined Lord Mayor Alan Yarrow for the Abseil Challenge, which saw 100 people edge over the side of the iconic building (with a bit of help from a team of experts).
He raised more than £5,000 for the Lord Mayor's Appeal, which benefits charities including Mencap and Scope.
Said Muncaster: "The best bit is that the charities got their money. But never, never again!"
