Matthews & Goodman
The commercial property adviser has announced the appointment of Giles Thomas to its national business space team. He most recently worked for TRW Real Estate, and began his career at Strutt and Parker, where he headed up its industrial team.
Wedlake Bell
The law firm has announced two promotions within its business recoveries and employment teams. Glenn Chidgey and Adam Grant become partners within the respective departments. Chidgey began his career at Wedlake Bell in 1994, and his practice focuses on contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring. Grant also trained at the firm, and advises on companies’ HR needs.
Turley
Lesley Treacy has been appointed associate director within the planning consultancy’s sustainability team. She joins from Greengage Environmental, where she was an associate partner. Lesley has particular experience in corporate social responsibility, and has previously led projects for British Land and Development Securities.
Bridging Finance
The short-term finance provider has announced three appointments. Steve Powis, Mark Finucane and Paul Chadney all become regional development managers. Powis has held roles at HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and RBS. Finucane arrives from First Title Insurance.
Box
The enterprise software platform has appointed Jeetu Patel as senior vice president of platform and chief strategy officer. He most recently worked for EMC, where he was general manager and chief executive of its Syncplicity business. Patel has also previously worked as chief marketing officer, chief strategy officer and chief technology officer in EMC’s information intelligence group.
Sackers
The commercial law firm has announced the appointment of Kirsty James and Andrew Worthington as associates. James joins from Eversheds and Worthington joins from Slaughter and May, where they were both pensions associates. They will advise trustees and employers on a wide range of pensions issues.
