Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will continue his playing career in Major League Soccer after last night signing for Canadian side Montreal Impact.
Drogba left Chelsea at the end of last season after winning his fourth Premier League title with the Blues. The 37-year-old made 381 appearances across two spells at Stamford Bridge.
Montreal Impact president Joey Saputo said: “It’s an honour to welcome Didier Drogba to the Impact. This is one of the biggest days in the club’s history.”
