Fury, 26, is due to meet the Ukrainian, who has not lost for 11 years, in Dusseldorf on 24 October.
The 6ft 9ins fighter from Wilmslow successfully defended his European heavyweight crown by beating Romanian Christian Hammer by technical decision in London in March.
Klitschko, 39, extended his record to 64 wins and three defeats with a unanimous points victory over American Bryant Jennings at Madison Square Garden in April. He last lost in 2004 to Lamon Brewster in a fight for the vacant WBO title.
