BNP Paribas Investment Partners

The asset management firm has appointed Matt Joyce as a portfolio manager within its multi asset solutions group. He joins from Schroders Investment Management, where he was a multi asset analyst and fund manager. Joyce has 12 years’ investment experience, and has also worked as an analyst and fund manager at Occam Asset Management and as an analyst on UK and global equity long/short strategies at Polar Capital.


The professional services firm has announced that Nikesh Patel is joining its pensions investment advisory business. He was previously at BlackRock, where he worked with institutional pension fund clients.

Knight Frank Finance

The property consultancy’s finance division has announced two appointments to its development team. Kate Schofield joins from Northridge Capital, where she was responsible for providing business support across the private equity division of development finance. Matt Connor transfers from Knight Frank Finance’s residential division.

Macquarie Investment Management

Macquarie’s securities asset management arm has appointed Austin McBride as head of UK wholesale. He joins from Ignis Asset Management, where he was most recently head of UK wholesale. McBride has also held roles at Lazard Asset Management, Janus International, and Henderson Global Investors.


Celia Gardiner has been appointed partner in the law firm’s banking and finance practice in London. She joins from Watson Farley & Williams, where she was a partner in its commodities and export finance practice.

American Express Global Business Travel

Kasey Chappelle has been appointed global privacy officer and director of commercial compliance at the travel solutions and consultancy firm. She joins from Vodafone, where she was global privacy counsel.


The pan-emerging market investment firm has elected Torbjorn Caesar as senior partner. He was previously co-head of Actis’s energy business and has 25 years’ experience in the energy sector.
