QUEENS Park Rangers midfielder Sandro was last night facing an uncertain future as the Loftus Road club await the outcome of a Home Office inquiry to determine the Brazilian’s status.
QPR have denied that Sandro, who joined the club for £6m from Tottenham in September, has been deported, despite the 26-year-old not holding a work permit granting him the legal right to work in the United Kingdom last season.
The Hoops were relegated from the Premier League in May and have been banned from signing any non-European Union players until the case has been concluded. Sandro tweeted: “Hope everything will be sorted soon. Love England too much.”
