JLL
The property-focused professional services and investment management firm has announced three appointments to its Central London tenant representation team. Robin Pugh becomes national director. He has previously worked for JLL in Dubai and in its City leasing team. Andrew Wood (pictured) joins as associate director. He has previously held roles at CBRE and DTZ Switzerland. James Bromme joins as a surveyor from JLL’s Bristol office.
Lloyds Bank
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed Margaret Van Pelt as a relationship director. Now based in London, she joined Lloyds in 2013 in New York. Van Pelt began her career in bank supervision and regulation in the Federal Reserve, and has also held roles at BBVA in risk management and debt capital markets.
Russell Investments
The asset management firm has appointed Van Luu as head of currency and fixed income strategy. He joins from Norges Bank Investment Management, where he was a senior analyst for investment policy and allocation strategies. Luu has also previously worked as a senior analyst at Russell Investments.
DTZ
Danny Kinnoch has been appointed director in the commercial real estate services firm’s Europe, Middle East and Africa international capital markets team. He joins from Savills’s pan-European investment team. Kinnoch has 15 years’ experience working with pan-European investors.
Metro Bank
The bank has appointed three new business development managers. Claire Askham joins from Legal & General Mortgage Club, Harsha Dahyea joins from The State Bank of India, and Dominic Sheahan joins from Commercial First.
Investor Relations Society
The professional body has announced the appointment of two new non-executive directors to its board. Charles King has been investor relations director for SSP Group since November 2014. He has also held investor relations roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Tate & Lyle, Cadbury and Serco. Fraser Thorne founded Edison Investment Research in 2003. Prior to that he ran Newton Investment Management’s UK smaller company fund.
