The asset management firm has appointed James Tothill as head of third party sales. He joins from Aria Capital Management, where he was head of strategic partnerships. Tothill has also previously worked as head of global partnerships at Henderson Global Investors.
Effie Datson has been appointed global head of product for the financial services firm’s alternative investment solutions division. She joins from Deutsche Bank, where she was global co-head of hedge fund sales. Datson founded 100 Women in Hedge Funds in Europe, an industry association of 13,000 professional women in the hedge fund industry.

The corporate finance advisory firm has appointed Philippe Jacquemard as managing director. He was most recently senior vice president and head of M&A at XL Group, the insurance and reinsurance company. Jacquemard has over 20 years’ experience in investment banking, and has also held positions at HSBC and Citigroup.
Paul Smith has been appointed head of trade finance at the bank. He has worked at Lloyds Banking Group for more than 31 years, and joins its global transactional banking team after working as area director for Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking in the North West, and as a senior manager in the bank’s national risk management team.
The business advisory firm has announced the appointment of Andrew Jackson as director in its governance, risk and regulation practice. He most recently worked at KPMG, where he provided support to financial institutions concerning anti-money laundering, sanctions and countering terrorist financing compliance strategies. Jackson has also held roles at Barclays.
James Wood has been appointed partner in the law firm’s corporate division in London. He joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he became a partner in 2001.
The restaurant delivery marketplace has appointed Lisa Hillier as chief people officer. She was most recently group HR director at Betfair.
