Sweet smell of success

LONDON played host to celebrating supporters of Norwich City, Chelsea and the England cricket team yesterday, during a thrilling bank holiday for sport in the capital. England captain Alastair Cook responded to criticism of his reign by scoring 162 runs before his side bowled out New Zealand to record a morale-boosting victory in the first Test at Lord’s. Meanwhile at Wembley, Norwich beat Middlesbrough 2-0 in the Championship play-off final, while in west London fans gathered to celebrate Chelsea’s Premier League triumph.
