What’s in a name? The political influence of a newborn princess

UNLESS you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll be aware that the new royal baby has arrived.

What you probably didn’t know is that the newborn’s name, Charlotte, means we can make a good guess to which way she will lean politically.

According to YouGov, people called Charlotte, Fiona and Pauline are most likely to vote Conservative.

While the royals don’t vote, they definitely have influence – have Wills and Kate just unleashed a new army of future Tory voters?
