Dean Mayer and Stuart Nicol have been appointed head of Debt and growth director respectively by the crowdfunding platform. Mayer is co-founder of Fidelitas, a mini-bond and debt advisory firm, and brings 22 years’ experience. He has worked at Belvall Capital, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, RBS and HSBC Private Equity. Nicol has worked at The Capital Fund and at Octopus Investments.
The insurer has announced that Bob Ewers, current chief executive officer of Axa Assistance UK & Ireland, will assume global responsibility for partnerships within the healthcare and life insurer sectors. Meanwhile, Ghislaine Colella, chief executive officer of Axa Travel Insurance, will now lead the group’s travel and financial institutions partnerships division.
The commercial real estate company has appointed James Williamson as director of hotels. He joins from GVA’s international hotel team. Prior to that, he was senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels and Forte Hotels Group. Williamson will undertake agency work on behalf of financial institutions, banks and investors.
The chartered surveyor and property consultancy has appointed Ian Bell as associate partner. Ian brings over eight years’ experience in commercial property market to the role, having previously worked within EY’s real estate valuation team and as a surveyor at Edward Symmons. Bell will be responsible for expanding the firm’s valuation business across London and the South East.

Stephanie Ouwendijk has been appointed as vice president and portfolio manager as part of the Emerging Markets Debt Opportunities team, within the Fixed Income Group of the investment management firm. Ouwendijk joins from Ashmore Group, where she was a fund manager. Prior to that, she worked at Gulf International Bank Asset Management.
The cloud network provider has appointed Jonathan Bridges as head of Enterprise Cloud. Bridges joins from Canopy, where he was global head of business development.
