Amazon is kicking off its Boxing Day sale on Christmas Day. That’s right, you can start hunting for deals if Santa didn’t bring what you wanted before you’ve even had time to digest Christmas dinner.

But there are also a host of retailers waiting to open their doors to sale shoppers on Boxing Day that have already started discounting online on Christmas Eve, including John Lewis, Harrods and Next.

Here's the lowdown on who is doing what and when, including some of the best offers we spotted.

The online giant's sale starts at 4pm on 25 December and runs until 31 December when more than 1,600 items will be on offer discounted one average by 35 per cent, including Kindle Fire tablets, Amazon’s streaming device Fire TV and electrical, fashion and entertainment products.

Getting in even earlier than Amazon, the John Lewis sale begins on Christmas Eve at 5pm online, while in stores it starts on Boxing Day.

While full details of offers have yet to be unveiled, those after fashion or furniture look to be in for a treat. Big ticket items such as Sofas, beds, dining tables and a host of homeware is reduced by up to 50 per cent.

Another early starter, Curry’s will begin deals online from 7pm on Christmas Eve and then Boxing Day in stores. Electricals, computers, games consoles and tablets are likely to be the order of the day here, though specific deals are yet to be announced.
