The real estate investment manager has appointed Simon Marriott as head of UK real estate. He was most recently director in the real estate transactions team at PwC, and has also held roles at Oxford Properties, MGPA, and Invista REIM.
Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan
Jo Taylor has been appointed managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and head of the London office, at Canada’s largest single-profession pension plan. He joined the organisation in 2012, and will also become a member of its investment committee.
The corporate broking and private wealth management firm has appointed Jamie Baptiste as head of group risk. He joins from Espirito Santo Investment Bank, where he was head of risk. Baptiste has also held senior roles at BNY Mellon, Merrill Lynch, Nomura and UBS.
Georgia Hall has been appointed brand and marketing director at the restaurant chain. She has over 20 years’ experience, and has previously directed brands including Tower Records, Yo! Sushi, Virgin Atlantic, Sony, Vodafone and Chelsea FC.
Robert Stirling has been appointed insurance partner in the law firm’s London office. He was most recently a partner in the financial institutions group at a Magic Circle firm, where he was head of its non-contentious insurance practice.
The insurer has appointed Ed Biemer as managing director for underwriting services. He arrives from Allstate, the US insurer, which he joined 1999, and where he was most recently senior vice president, auto.
Round Hill Capital
Ben Segelman has been appointed head of asset management at the real estate investment manager. He joins from Ashmore Investment Management, where he was a global portfolio manager.
Chris White has been appointed energy partner in the law firm’s London office, and will lead its nuclear sector. White joins from Pinsent Masons, where he was a partner and co-head of its global nuclear sector.
