The business advisory firm has appointed Bill Page as senior adviser for African projects, based in London. He joins after five years at Deloitte Tanzania, where he was partner responsible for tax practices there and in Uganda. Page also spent nearly 11 years in the former Soviet Union.
The accounting and advisory firm has announced three tax partner appointments to its business tax team. Timothy Fussell, Kevin Phillips and Vincent Wood all join from Baker Tilly.
The business services firm has appointed Sue Watts as executive vice president of business and operations planning. She joins from Capgemini, where her roles included chief executive for its Americas outsourcing business. Watts has also held roles at Orange Business Services, and Unisys.
Jonathan Tyler has been appointed managing director of the business advisory firm’s financial communications practice. He was most recently chief commercial officer for Climate-KIC, a European Commission climate change initiative. Tyler began his career as an equity research analyst, holding roles at UBS, Bear Stearns, and Goldman Sachs.
Andrew Smith has been appointed chief technology officer at the wrap-based platform. He joins from Axa Wealth Elevate, where he was appointed chief operating officer of its platform in September 2012. Smith previously worked as chief operating officer at Nucleus, and has also held roles at Logica and Pingtel.
The law firm has announced the appointment of Steven Cochrane as a partner its financial services team in London. He joins from Allen & Overy, and will focus on advising clients on employment-related matters, particularly executive-level employment law and cross-border regulatory matters.
Bryn Wright has been hired to head up investment management in the wealth manager’s new Taunton office. He has over 30 years’ experience managing portfolios for private clients and charities, and joins from Brewin Dolphin.
