FROM top hats to Louboutins, the City is dusting off its finest this morning for tonight’s hugely anticipated City A.M. awards at Grange St Paul’s Hotel.
With 14 awards to hand over, we’re looking forward to loading up the mantelpieces of the City’s most hard-working and successful names.
In the running we’ve got well-known City faces such as Bank of England governor Mark Carney, Prudential boss Tidjane Thiam, Newton Investment Management’s Helena Morrissey, L&G chief Nigel Wilson and CMC Markets’ Peter Cruddas as well as headline making companies such as Uber, AstraZeneca, Next, BT and Aldi.
To top it all off we’ve got a keynote speech from Britain’s favourite advertising titan, Sir Martin Sorrell. We’re sure the WPP boss will give us plenty to chew over, besides our dinners.
It promises to be an entertaining evening, and we hope to celebrate the City’s 2014 achievements in style.
Make sure you check cityam.com and our Twitter account, @CityAM, this evening to find out who all of our lucky winners are – and pick up tomorrow’s paper to see some of the best photos and get all of the gossip from the night.
