Alison Cornwell joins the entertainment company as chief financial officer. She has previously held leadership positions at Disney, Sparrowhawk Media and Alliance Films. She was appointed to the British Film Institute’s board of governors in 2013.

Holdingham

Charles Harman is to join the strategic intelligence firm Hakluyt’s holding company as chief executive officer, succeeding Keith Craig. Harman has held leadership roles at JP Morgan and JP Morgan Cazenove.

Berwin Leighton Paisner

The law firm has appointed Alison Crosland as its new real estate chief operations officer (COO). She joins from LGBT Finance, and has previously worked as COO for Asperity Employee Benefits. She also spent 20 years with the risk consultancy Control Risks Group.

BCS Prime Brokerage

Tim Bevan has been appointed chief executive of the equities and derivatives broker. Bevan’s promotion to the newly-created role comes at a time of rapid expansion for the firm.

John Lewis Partnership

Keith Hubber has been appointed general counsel and company secretary. An experienced lawyer, he joins from BG Group.

Cognia

The cloud-based communications intelligence solutions company has appointed Simon Mansfield as chair of its board of directors. Mansfield has recently been an adviser to Oxford Capital, following a career with Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently a partner.

Hunton & Williams

Andrew Thomas has been appointed partner by the law firm, as it works on expanding its global energy and infrastructure practice. Thomas joins from Fasken Martineau, where he helped develop an energy and natural resources-focused international finance practice.

Castle Harbour

The London and Bermuda financial services firm has appointed Damien Regnier to co-manage a new convertible bond fund. Regnier was previously a portfolio manager for global convertible bonds at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.
