Susan Gostick has been appointed head of pension fund segment at the asset management arm of
Lending Works
The peer-to-peer lending company has appointed Michael Raasch as head of technology. He has recently been working with a series of early stage companies, including Deborah Meaden-backed Ecoinomy, and has also held software development project manager roles at Goldman Sachs, Commerzbank, and UBS.
British Property Federation
Melanie Leech has been appointed chief executive of the British Property Federation. She joins from the Food and Drink Federation, where she was director general. Leech has also held senior positions in government, and was chief executive of the Association of Police Authorities.
Lloyds Bank
Allen Appen has been appointed head of financial institutions capital and asset backed solutions at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking. He joins from Barclays, where he was most recently head of financial institutions capital markets for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Squire Patton Boggs
Ben Holland has been appointed international dispute resolution partner at the law firm. He joins from Covington & Burling. Holland’s practice focuses on energy-related disputes, particularly in the oil and gas, power, renewables, utilities and mining sectors.
Peel Hunt
The corporate broking, advisory and trading house has announced two appointments. Mark Thompson joins as head of investment company sales from Martin Currie, where he managed its discretionary client sales in London. Caroline Cerisola joins as investment companies analyst from JP Morgan Cazenove, where she worked in its investment companies research team.
Alken Asset Management
The asset management firm has appointed two analysts to its investment team. Michael Aubourg joins from Credit Suisse, and Nicolas Descoqs joins from ConocoPhillips.
