The professional services firm has appointed Simon Hampton to lead its real estate deals practice. He joins from Jefferies, where he was head of real estate, gaming and lodging. Hampton has also held senior positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Alliance Trust
Peter Michaelis has been appointed head of equities at the savings and investment firm. In addition, Simon Clements, who was head of global equities at Aviva Investors, will be responsible for the management of Alliance Trust’s equity portfolio. Both joined the firm in 2012.

Panmure Gordon
The stockbroker and investment bank has announced several new appointments to its research team. Anna Barnfather will cover the leisure sector, and joins from GE Capital. Kevin Fogarty joins from Westhouse Securities, where he was a growth companies analyst. Adrian Kearsey will cover companies in the support services sector, and joins from Sanlam Securities, where he was head of small cap research. Finally, Sue Munden will cover REITS and property, and joins from Cantor Fitzgerald.

Ince & Co
Lance Sapsford has been appointed director of business development and marketing at the law firm. He was previously director of marketing and business development for the UK, Middle East, and Africa at Dentons.

Addleshaw Goddard
Mark Hastings has been appointed head of fraud, regulatory and corporate crime at the law firm. Currently litigation partner at Addleshaw Goddard, he replaces Ian Hargreaves, who is joining King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin.

The insurer has appointed Rossella Bollini and Nick Little as underwriters in its technology, media and business services team. Bollini joined in 2012, and Little joins from CFC, where he held an underwriting role.

Nicolas Theys has been appointed partner in the law firm’s restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy practice in France. He joins from King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin.
