The mid market financial advisory group has announced two appointments to its UK debt advisory practice. Simon Chambers (pictured) and Richard Clark both join as managing directors from DC Advisory. Clark has also held roles at Close Brothers, Houlihan Lokey and JP Morgan. Chambers has previously worked at Barclays, and also as an engineer at Rolls Royce.

Martin Powis has been appointed business development manager at the asset management firm. He joins from Ignis Asset Management, where he was head of institutional sales. Powis has over 14 years’ experience in client facing roles, and has also worked at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management and Gartmore Investment.
The intellectual property law firm has announced three partner hires to its London office. Philip Cupitt joins as a partner in its electrical practice group. Hazel Ford joins as a partner in its biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice group. Finally, Daryl Penny joins as a partner in its mechanical practice group.
The Russian corporate and investment bank has announced two senior appointments. Annie Jordan joins as head of human resources from Lansdowne International, an executive search firm she founded. Jordan has also held roles at Heidrick & Struggles. Paul Goldfinch joins as chief financial officer. He has previously held senior positions at UBS.
Bob Charlton has been appointed head of Asia and managing partner of the law firm’s Hong Kong office. He joins from DLA Piper, where he was managing partner of the Asia Pacific region.
The technology firm has appointed Stephen Harvey as group chief financial officer (CFO). He is a former CFO of Microsoft UK.
The cloud-based IT management software provider has appointed Spencer Young as vice president of sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa. He joins from Coverity, and has also held roles at Canon, IBM, and Xerox.
