It’s the Lib Dem Disco! A chance to shake a leg with Nick Clegg
From the party that promised a free tree for every new born child (sort of) comes perhaps the best political fundraising idea The Capitalist has ever heard. Prepare yourself folks… it’s the Lib Dem disco!
That’s right, for £10 a ticket or a bargainous £15 per pair, you too can go on an eight-hour bender with Olly Grender and get ravey with Ed Davey at the party’s conference in Glasgow later this year.
On the decks will be DJ Dizzle Fizzle, aka former Communities and Local Government big dog Don Foster, spinning his unique mix of “vintage grooves and fresh beats” (yes, really – these are their words, not ours).
Alongside Foster will be DJ Fazza T, aka Fatboy Tim, aka party president Tim Farron with his big box of “nonstop banging tunes”.
While Lib Dem heavyweights battle it out on the decks to be crowned best DJ, The Capitalist can just see party leader Nick Clegg and business secretary Vince Cable busting some serious moves as they take their long-running leadership battle to the dancefloor. Easily worth £10, no?
