Anthology
David Clark has been appointed chief financial officer at the property developer, backed by Oaktree Capital Management. He joins from Mount Anvil, the specialist residential property developer, where he was group finance director.

CityJet
Patrick Lukan has been appointed chief commercial officer at the airline. He joins from Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where he was senior director of global operations. Lukan has more than 25 years’ experience in the global travel and technology industries, and has also held roles at American Airlines, Sabre and Travelport.

Downing
The venture capital firm has announced two appointments to its investment team. Mark Gross joins as an investment director from mid-market private equity fund Caird Capital. David Martin Smith joins as an investment manager. He previously held roles at Smith & Williamson Corporate Finance.

JLL
Melissa Varley has been appointed director in the real estate focused professional services and investment firm’s retail management team. She joins from Savills, where she specialised in shopping centre management. Varley has also held roles at Stiles Harold Williams and Capita Symonds.

BAE Systems Applied Intelligence
Elaine Baker has been appointed director of engineering at the division of BAE Systems. She has previously worked for Capita, Barclays, CSC and Xansa, and has also been a non-executive adviser to the Land Registry.

Triangle
The investment, development and asset management group has announced two London-based appointments to its Asia team. Isabelle Yan was most recently a sales and property manager at Vanet Property Asset Management. Dominic Wang joins from HuaShang Property Development, where he worked as property development manager.

M&S Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of David Stewart as an independent non-executive director to the Marks & Spencer Financial Services board. He was chief executive of Coventry Building Society between 2006 and 2014. Stewart has also held roles at DBS Management, and trained as an accountant at Peat Marwick.
