David Currie has been appointed non-executive director at the software, consultancy and technology-enabled outsourcing provider. He recently established Codex Capital Partners, and is a former head of Investec Bank’s investment banking division.

PwC
Mark Pugh has been appointed asset management leader in the UK at the professional services firm. He has been an assurance partner at PwC for 10 years, and takes over the asset management role from Paula Smith, who is returning to the US after her secondment to the UK.

Co-op Bank
Liam Coleman has been appointed director, retail and commercial bank, at the Co-operative Bank. He joined in June 2013 as treasurer, and he was previously deputy group treasurer at RBS. Coleman is also a former treasury group director at Nationwide.

BNP Paribas Securities Services
The global custodian has announced four appointments to its sales and relationship management team for UK asset managers. Ken Back becomes head of asset managers and alternatives sales for the UK. He has held roles at Broadridge and Citi. Anne Leyton becomes head of the fund manager liaison team. She joins from Citi, and has also worked at Northern Trust. Roman Seydoux becomes global relationship manager for asset managers. He joins from Bank of New York Mellon. Claire Misata becomes global relationship manager for asset managers. She has held roles at Northern Trust and JP Morgan.

Godiva
The chocolatier has announced the appointment of Mohamed Elsarky as chief executive. Currently Godiva’s international president, Elsarky succeeds Jim Goldman.

Smith & Williamson
Mickey Morrissey has been appointed head of distribution for Smith & Williamson’s investment management business’s pooled funds and DFM business lines. He joined in 2012, has previously worked as head of distribution at Liontrust Asset Management, and has also held roles at Mercury Asset Management and Thornton Investment Management.

RBC Investor & Treasury Services
James Rausch has been appointed head, banks, brokers and exchanges for transaction banking at the division of Royal Bank of Canada. He most recently worked at Powerex.
